These currencies have now taken on an importance that was previously not considered. We are in the age of serious uncertainty, which has not got any better as the years have gone by.

Introduction
Self publishing is all the rage in the publishing world at the moment and there is no stopping this new trend. Many have argued that the author is now free of the draconian attitudes of publishers to express him/herself creatively without interference. Many publishers particularly self publishers are looking for that new business model that can be built into a profitable business. 

Clients have asked not to discuss any details even in a summary but are happy to allow us to mention that we are working on this problem. 

Intravenous Fluids Case Study

Introduction 
The world over has a problem of a shortage of intravenous fluids (IV fluids). Many countries simply import their needs, which are not satisfied. In other words, there may be satisfaction with quality of the product but dissatisfaction with the quantity. The importation of the IV fluids in the current economic climate is simply not viable in some cases. What should such client do?
The Client Problem
Our client had a cholera outbreak that was quite serious. The medical team knew what to do and how to do it, however, they did not have access to one key variable – IV fluids. This lack of IV fluids became the major problem, as the issue of dehydration among those suffering from cholera is something that could not be ignored. In cases where there was access to IV fluids, it was found that the product was sub-standard. There was also a criminal problem with the importation of sub-standard products. 
The Solution
On speaking with our client, we spent time looking at all the options available and concluded that the only way to satisfy the need and want is to manufacture. This decision helped in solving several problems. Here are just some of the problems solved:

  • A good place to build IV fluid plant to ensure the continued access to water
  • The client actually gets to manufacture a much needed product, which ensures its profitability and survival
  • The client saves much needed foreign exchange
  • The proposed plant is also a modular plant which means that it can be expanded with ease should the need arise
  • The client also gets to manufacture other products with almost no extra cost to initial financial projections
Conclusion
In any project, what is most important is the satisfaction of the client coupled with work a consultant is proud to mention. Not only was client happy but also presented another project, which we are currently discussing.
